Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2026
Accessibility matters to me. My clients include people with dyslexia, ADHD, dyspraxia and other specific learning difficulties, so a clear, readable, easy-to-use website is part of doing this work properly — not an afterthought.
My commitment
I aim to make this website usable for as many people as possible, and to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as a standard of good practice. While the statutory accessibility regulations apply to public sector bodies rather than to an independent private practice, I follow the same guidelines voluntarily, and I have a duty under the Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people.
What I have done to make this site accessible
- Clear, generously spaced typography with strong colour contrast to support easy reading.
- A warm off-white background rather than stark white, to reduce glare and visual stress.
- Plain, jargon-free language wherever possible.
- Text that can be resized in your browser without breaking the layout.
- Full keyboard navigation and visible focus states.
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Fast-loading pages that work well on phones and tablets.
- Downloadable resources offered as readable PDF guides.
Known limitations
I am honest about where there is room to improve. Some downloadable PDF guides may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers, and some third-party content (such as embedded review or messaging tools) is outside my direct control. I am working to improve these, and I will always provide the same information in an accessible format on request.
Getting information in a different format
If you need anything on this site — or any part of the assessment process — in a different format, just ask. I can provide large print, a specific font or colour, plain-text versions, information read aloud or talked through by phone or video call, and extra time, breaks or other adjustments during your assessment.
Contact me at sally@identify-potential.co.uk or 07983 714033 (phone, text or WhatsApp) and I will do my best to help.
Reporting a problem
If you come across any part of this website that is difficult to use or access, please tell me. Email sally@identify-potential.co.uk with a short description of the problem and the page it is on, and I will respond as soon as I can.
Accessibility is not just about the website. If you have any access needs for your assessment itself, tell me when you get in touch and we will plan the session around them.
