Dyslexia, ADHD & Dyspraxia Assessments in Newark-on-Trent
Newark-on-Trent is one of the closest towns to my practice, so it’s especially convenient for face-to-face assessments — though, like most clients, you’re welcome to choose online instead.
I support Newark families whose children are finding school harder than expected, students preparing DSA applications, and adults who want a clear, formal diagnosis.
Who I assess: children from age 6 for dyslexia, and adults for dyslexia, ADHD and dyspraxia. My ADHD assessment is educational — it identifies how ADHD affects learning and work and provides evidence for DSA, workplace adjustments and a medical referral, but it is not a medical diagnosis.
Serving Newark-on-Trent
- One of the nearest towns — very easy for face-to-face
- Online via Zoom equally available
- Dyslexia for children (from age 6); ADHD (educational), dyspraxia & dyslexia for adults
- Tailored, SASC-compliant reports
Online or face-to-face?
I’m based nearby in Nottinghamshire. Most clients choose an online assessment via Zoom, which is just as thorough as meeting in person — but because I’m local, face-to-face is easy to arrange too. For younger children (up to around age 9) I usually recommend face-to-face, as two hours online is a lot for a young child to concentrate through.

Why choose Identify Potential
- One assessor, start to finish — you work directly with me, not an admin team or a rotating panel.
- Reports in 2–3 weeks, not the four to eight weeks many providers quote.
- Fair, transparent pricing — the same SASC standards as larger providers, at around half the price, with no hidden extras.
- Genuinely useful reports — written to empower you, with practical recommendations for school, study and work.
- Properly qualified — AMBDA, a current BDA Assessment Practising Certificate, PATOSS and Dyslexia Guild membership, QTS, the SENDCO National Award and an Enhanced DBS.
